What is Nadir Experiences?


Nadir Experiences is the compassionate service extension of Peak Experiences Consulting ( We assessment people’s mindsets*, assist them in processing their nadir experiences and help change the way people get support with facing life's challenges. We do this by providing convenient, discreet and affordable access to a certified coach.


Nadir Experiences makes professional coaching support available anytime, anywhere, through a computer, tablet or smartphone, over the phone or face to face when possible.

How many people Use Nadir Experiences services?


Since 1992, more than 10,000 people have had their LSI mindset assessment processed and then provided coaching and group-based services of Peak Experiences Consulting.

January 2018 is our formal launch of our Nadir Experiences services through this platform.

Who are the Nadir coaches?


Coaches at Nadir Experiences are certified, trained, experienced professional. They have been qualified and certified by professional organizations after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice. While their experience, expertise and background vary, they all possess at least eight years and 2,000 hours of hands-on experience. 

Who will be helping me?


After getting in touch with us, we will match you to an available coach who fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with. Our coaches specialize in various areas and have different approaches and areas of focus, so it's important to find the right person who can achieve the best results for you. If you start the process and you feel your coach isn't a good fit for you, you may elect to be matched to a different coach.

What is your relationship with Human Synergistics International?


Human Synergistics International (Canada) is an international privately held consulting firm, dedicated to strengthening organizations and communities through individual development. We believe that one of the most effective ways to help people develop and grow is through training, combined with feedback on their mindsets, how they are coping with life and their overall performance.


One of the reasons that Peak Experiences choose Human Synergistics to provide them with assessments is because they want an independent third party to develop and administer assessments that are accurate, valid and reliable and will ensure the anonymity and confidentiality. In order for the assessments to be accurate, those completing them need to be totally honest. Human Synergistics Canada can ensure your privacy in a number of ways. Whether you are the person being assessed (called “focal individuals”) or the one assessing others (called “raters”) we are legally and morally committed to ensuring your privacy.

Why do we use the LSI mindset assessment?


The LSI predominantly measures complex attitudes and thinking styles. It is not a personality test. The “LSI” stands for “Life Style Inventory” allowing our client to gain a deeper understanding of how their mind helps or hinders their ability to process external stimulas. We use the assessment tool as it is one of the strongest assessment tools of the human mindset in the world and it is used globally by millions of people. We respect and understand that individual development starts with enhanced self-awareness and self-discovery. With the use of this assessment tool, our coaching solutions help to create awareness of current behaviours, acceptance of the impacts these have on personal and life effectiveness, and action steps for constructive change. All of our associates have completed an intensive certification process from Human Synergistics and / or are certified master coach practitioners International Coaches Federation.

Is Nadir Experiences coaching a substitute for traditional face-to face therapy?

Yes. We specialize in grief coaching, mindset assessments / management, supports for people in crisis / stress, mid-life passage and dealing with life’s big mistakes. The coaching professionals who work at Nadir Experiences are not therapists or counsellors. While the service may have similar benefits, our work is not a substitute for traditional face-to-face therapy. Please note that your coach may suggest you seek help from a physician or a professional therapist if your requests are beyond our training and professional capabilities.

Is Nadir Experiences right for me?

Our Nadir Experiences services may be right for you if you're looking to:

  • grieve a significant loss in your life;

  • learn from your nadir experiences (crisis, high-levels of stress, dissatisfaction, pain, unmet expectations etc);

  • strengthen your mindset to be better positioned to react to life’s challenges;

  • increase your maturity and readiness to change; and / or

  • move ahead and improve the quality of your life.


Nadir Experiences is not the right solution for you if any of the following is true: 

  • You are in an urgent crisis or an emergency situation. If so call;

    • 911 for Emergencies

    • 811 for trusted, everyday health information and advice (Nova Scotia)

    • 1.888.429.8167 for Mental Health Mobile Crisis Team (Nova Scotia)

  • You have been diagnosed with a severe or clinical mental illness, or if you have been advised to be in psychological supervision or psychiatric care.

  • You have thoughts of hurting yourself or others.

  • You were required to undergo therapy or counselling either by a court order or by any other authority.

I put in a request for support. How long until I’m matched with a coach?

We are a small consulting company with a few coaches with expertise in their fields. We are committed to serving our clients so you will hear from us within 24 hours or less.

How will I connect and communicate with my coach?


You can get coaching support in four ways:

  • Exchanging text messages with your coach.

  • Chatting live or through Video conferencing with your coach.

  • Speaking over the phone with your coach.

  • Face to face coaching (pending on your geographic location.)

How long can I use the Nadir Experiences services?

This depends on your situation, needs and varies a lot from one person to another. Some people feel they get most of the value after a review of their mindset assessment and a few coaching sessions, while others require a more in-depth coaching support for an extended period of time. In consultation with your coach you can customize what works best for you.

How can I be ensured this is an effective form of help?

There are many studies that confirm the effectiveness of the use of the LSI mindset assessment and coaching supports. However, our confidence comes primarily from the feedback and testimonials we have receive from our clients since 1992. Every day we are proud to be in a position to help support people move forward through difficult times in their lives and to hear from people about the way our service helped them make significant changes in their lives.

How is my privacy protected?

In co-operation with Human Synergistics Canada, we have built a state-of-the-art technology, operation, and infrastructure with one thing in mind: protecting your privacy and safeguarding the information you provide. Our privacy and confidentiality standards are by far more advanced than what is required by law or regulations, so you can feel safe and comfortable.

  • You don't need to identify yourself.

  • Everything you tell your coach is confidential.

  • We don't cooperate or work with any insurance companies or employers, so nothing needs to be shared, reported or filed with them.

  • Our servers are hosted in top-notch facility, ensuring the best-in-class security and protection.


If you wish for any of your mindset assessment or information to be released to a third party physician or therapist for extended support, please let your coach know. Your coach will send you an authorization form that you will need to fill and sign before your information can be released.

Can I stay anonymous?

Yes. When you sign up we do ask you for your full name or contact information, however you may pick any "nick name" which will identify you in the system. When you decide to start the coaching process, we will ask you for emergency contact information which is kept safe in our files so it can be used if your coach believes that you or someone else might be in danger.
